Job summary

Hunter Douglas in Mexico’s Ensenada area seeks a professional to handle financial analysis, statutory accounting and fixed assets control for the maquiladora entity. You will manage payroll, budgets and forecasts in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong knowledge of OPEX, tax coordination, ERP/MRP, and reporting to authorities. You will collaborate with the global business center and support audits and annual closings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in statutory accounting and tax calculation.
• Budget creation and analysis experience.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP; NIF.
• English proficiency around 80%.
• Strong Excel and Power BI skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares payroll, operational and capital budget
• Prepares payroll, operational and capital forecast
• Analysis of monthly operating expenses variances
• Creation and recording of obsolescence reserves
• Participating in internal/external audit and SOX
• Capital project control
• Fixed assets administration
• Chart of accounts & mapping
• Prepare and submit INEGI reports
• Coordinate with tax authorities
• Submit monthly electronic accounting reports
• Respond to audit requests
• VAT applications and DIOT submissions
• Monthly and annual accounting closing
• Coordinate with Global Business Center
• Accounting records management
• Support annual physical inventory
