ABB Mexico City está buscando un Service Manager para liderar actividades de servicio de baja a media complejidad, cumpliendo con procesos y normas de ABB. Planificarás y ejecutarás trabajos con enfoque de primera vez correcto, manteniendo la calidad y seguridad.

El rol se centra en el área de Automation Measurement & Analytics en CDMX, con desplazamiento del 50% anual. Reportarás a un Service Manager y formarás parte de un equipo dinámico y orientado a resultados.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Preferably Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Chemical, Automation, Electronics, or related).
• 1+ year of professional experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Advanced English communication (oral and written).
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• On-site work with the customer to identify opportunities to improve operations.
• Perform field service tasks, identify issues, and perform analysis remotely or on-site.
• Prepare material lists and ensure availability of parts and equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment/process failures and recommend corrective actions.

Your Role: Own the Challenge

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility.

The Work Model For The Role Is

Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.

This role is contributing to the Automation Measurement and Analytics Division in Mexico City.

You Will Be Mainly Accountable For

• Working with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer’s operations and eliminate pain points.
• Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products.
• Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities.
• Troubleshooting equipment/process failures, requesting proactive corrective actions, and making recommendations to avoid such issues in the future.

• At least one year of professional experience related in a similar role

• Willing to travel 50% of the time in the year
