Job summary

ABB en San Luis Potosí busca un Senior Engineering Manager para liderar el desarrollo y la mejora de componentes de software dentro de la función de Ingeniería de Software, en gestión de plataforma y aplicaciones. Reportarás al gerente senior y coordinarás con equipos para cumplir plazos y entregar soluciones de alta calidad.

El rol requiere experiencia sólida en desarrollo full‑stack, dominio de VB.NET, SQL y herramientas de Microsoft, con inglés intermedio.

Qualifications

• Licenciatura en Ingeniería Informática o similar.
• 3+ años de experiencia en desarrollo de software, Fullstack.
• Inglés intermedio.
• Competencias en VB.NET, VBA, VBScript y SQL; C, C++, C# opcionales.
• Proficiencia en Visual Studio; DAX, HTML, PHP y JavaScript (recomendables).
• Conocimientos básicos de Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI y SAP.

Responsibilities

• Desarrollar y mantener software y bases de datos.
• Migrar bases de datos y herramientas a nuevas aplicaciones.
• Crear código y entregables mantenibles.
• Apoyar al equipo de ingeniería para proponer ideas creativas para nuevo software o mejoras.
• Soporte técnico para computadoras del departamento de ingeniería.

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and enhance the software components in the assigned Software Engineering function in one or more of platform and application management. Each day, you provide accurate project schedule estimates and ensures their successful completion within the deadline. You will also showcase your expertise by demonstrating good proficiency in software engineering in their own area of competence.

The Work Model For The Role Is

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division in San Luis Potosi.

You Will Be Mainly Accountable For

• Development and maintenance of software and databases
• Migration of existing databases and tools to new applications
• Creates maintainable code and deliverables
• Support software engineering to suggest creative ideas for new software or improvements on current software
• Technical support for Personal computers of engineering department

Qualifications For The Role

• Bachelors in computer engineering or similar.
• 3+ Years of Experience in Software development, Fullstack.
• Intermediate English
• Programming skills proficiency for,VB .NET, VBA, VBScript, and SQL is required. ( C, C++, C# preferred)
• Microsoft Visual Studio proficiency, DAX, HTML, PHP, Java Script, desirable.
• Power Apps, Power Automate, Powerbi and SAP basic knowledge desirable.
