Danfoss in Reynosa, Mexico is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver onsite and remote technical field support, diagnostics, and evidence collection across installed products and systems. You will conduct investigations, collect field data, and prepare reports while collaborating with Quality, Engineering, and Customer Claims teams to drive root-cause analysis and field validation.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven field service, troubleshooting, maintenance, commissioning, or industrial technical support experience.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, installation manuals, control logic, and diagnostic data across complex equipment.
  • Customer-focused, safety-aware, adaptable, and collaborative across functions, sites, and cultures.

Responsabilidades

  • Conduct onsite and remote investigations by inspecting installations, operating conditions, interfaces, and product performance using approved diagnostic methods.
  • Perform authorized troubleshooting, testing, repair, adjustment, commissioning, and temporary restoration activities within established technical and safety guidelines.
  • Collect and document reliable field evidence including photographs, measurements, operating data, samples, and technical observations to support investigations and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Customer Claims Handling, and customer teams to support root-cause analysis, escalation management, and field validation activities.
  • Prepare timely and accurate technical field reports while maintaining compliance with safety requirements, documentation standards, and service procedures.

You will conduct onsite and remote investigations, perform authorized diagnostics and service activities, and provide objective technical reporting that supports effective claim handling, root-cause analysis, and customer recovery. What You\'ll Be Doing

What We\'re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or related technical field; equivalent relevant experience may also be considered.
  • Proven experience in field service, troubleshooting, application engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, commissioning, or industrial technical support environments.
  • Strong knowledge of technical diagnostics, evidence collection, root-cause analysis, field safety practices, and corrective-action methodologies.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, installation manuals, control logic, technical procedures, and diagnostic data across complex equipment and systems.
  • A mindset of customer focus, safety awareness, adaptability, technical curiosity, and collaboration across functions, sites, and cultures.
