The LEGO Group is seeking a Facilities Operations professional to oversee daily facility operations, maintenance planning, and staff development. The role requires strong technical knowledge across HVAC, safety, and electrical systems, with a focus on budget control and spare parts management.

Fluency in English and Spanish is advantageous for coordinating with international teams and presenting complex ideas.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent with HVAC experience.
  • Solid technical knowledge of machine safety, mechanics, pneumatics, electricity, and electronics.
  • Understanding of manufacturing facilities requirements by NOM-001-SEDE / NOM-002 / NOM-022-STPS / NOM-029; ammonia handling training a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in process development, budget management and control, and managing spare parts and warehouse operations.

Core Responsibilities
  • Supervise Operations: Oversee daily operations of personnel, equipment, and facilities, ensuring efficient and effective management.
  • Maintenance Management: Plan and control maintenance activities, including budget management and spare parts, in line with asset management systems.
  • Staff Development: Foster employee growth by providing training, skill development, and opportunities to exceed expectations.
  • Facilities Oversight: Ensure timely and quality completion of facilities service requests and maintenance of building systems like HVAC and BMS.
  • Collaboration and Compliance: Work closely with other supervisors and adhere to company policies, safety, and governance rules.
  • Continuous Improvement: Enhance personnel motivation and satisfaction while developing root cause analysis for operational improvements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience in maintenance and installation with HVAC systems or manufacturing, ideally in multinational environments.
  • Solid technical knowledge of machine safety, mechanics, pneumatics, electricity, and electronics, understanding of manufacturing facilities requirements by: NOM-001-SEDE / NOM-002 / NOM-022-STPS / NOM-029, ammonia handling training or certification a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in development of process, budget management and control and managing spare parts and warehouse operations and inventory.
  • Advanced communication skills both in English and Spanish, verbally and in writing and comfortable in presenting complex ideas.
