Job summary

Corning is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead low- to medium-complexity product development and manufacturing projects, with an initial focus on New Product Introduction initiatives supporting HSDC. You will coordinate engineering, operations, manufacturing, product development, and other stakeholders to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or related technical field.
• 3+ years leading projects in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial settings.
• Experience with New Product Introduction, product/process development, or automation projects.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and business.
• Experience shaping project plans, scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and communications.
• Strong communication across organizational levels and relationship-building skills.
• Analytical mindset with initiative to advance projects in changing environments.
• Graduate degree (MBA or similar) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans with scope, milestones, budgets, risks, and objectives.
• Lead cross-functional teams through development, testing, manufacturing implementation, and launch.
• Engage customers and internal stake­holders, clarify requirements, and manage expectations.
• Build business cases by evaluating needs, costs, risks, and financial impact.
• Ensure safety, quality, delivery, IP, and compliance; apply continuous improvement practices.
