Job summary

Corning, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Project Manager in Reynosa, Mexico, to lead low- to mid-complexity development and manufacturing projects, with a focus on New Product Introduction initiatives for HSDC.

You will coordinate engineering, operations, manufacturing, and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards. You will evaluate project value, manage risks, and support cost-reduction initiatives while aligning with business and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or another relevant technical discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams involving engineering, technology, operations, manufacturing, and business stakeholders.
• Experience developing project plans and managing scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and project communications.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels and build productive relationships across functions.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the practical judgment to move projects forward in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, including scope, milestones, resources, budgets, risks, and business objectives; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
• Lead cross-functional teams through product and process development, testing, evaluation, manufacturing implementation, and project launch.
• Engage customers and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, manage expectations, and resolve issues.
• Build strong business cases by evaluating market needs, technical and manufacturing opportunities, cost targets, risks, and financial impact.
• Ensure activities meet safety, quality, delivery, IP, and compliance expectations using PM and continuous improvement practices.
