Molex Guadalajara (DSS division) is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing engineering team and drive strategic projects that meet business objectives. You will oversee from concept to execution, ensuring quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with R&D, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain, mentor supervisors, manage NPI/PLUS, optimize capex and opex, and pursue Lean/Six Sigma improvements to transform operations and deliver robust solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
• Minimum 5 years of progressive engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong experience with business/client lines, process analysis, and advanced SMT/semiconductor/aerospace environments.
• Proficient in English (C1 level).
• Demonstrated skills in root cause analysis, FMEA, SPC, and process improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and inspire cross-functional teams and indirect functional groups to deliver innovative solutions and process improvements.
• Manage engineering projects end-to-end, including NPI/PLUS, new process development, machinery qualification, and project startups from scratch.
• Analyze and optimize capex and opex, forecast needs, and drive reductions in cycle times.
• Oversee process characterization, apply statistical models, and influence process improvements.
• Train and develop team members, including superintendents and supervisors, fostering a culture of transformation and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and timely project execution.
