Molex in Guadalajara seeks an experienced engineer to drive BOM management, engineering changes, and PLM/MRP SAP processes. You will work with design, manufacturing, quality, and planning teams to ensure accurate part-number creation and traceability throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Engineering, 3–5 years in manufacturing engineering, strong English, and a proven ability to coordinate cross-functional efforts for successful product launches.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Physics, Photonics, Mechatronics, or related).
• 3-5 years of experience in an engineering role in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with BOM management, engineering change management, and technical drawing interpretation.
• Proficiency with Product Life-Cycle Management Systems and MRP (SAP).
• Advanced English (professional proficiency).
• Strong organization, teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Responsabilidades

• Configure and generate new part numbers, ensuring correct integration into manufacturing systems (SAP, MES, PLM).
• Manage and control materials for new products and engineering changes from scratch.
• Interpret technical drawings and documentation for proper implementation in the plant.
• Lead the implementation of engineering changes and maintain traceability in ERP and PLM systems.
• Serve as the key contact for digital transformation initiatives and support the execution of key area and plant initiatives.
• Standardize documentation and product records for different part number families.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and resolve product performance issues and ensure successful product launches.
