Descripción del empleo

Objective

To lead and coordinate the technical and strategic activities necessary to ensure the efficient execution of projects, the optimization of industrial processes, and compliance with quality, safety, and sustainability standards. This role ensures that operations and projects are developed within organizational objectives and aligned with the needs of internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supervision and Leadership of the Technical Team: Coordinate and lead the work of project engineers and process engineers, ensuring their activities are aligned with the organization's strategic objectives. Foster a collaborative and productive environment, promoting the team's professional development.
  2. Project Management: Plan, execute, and supervise industrial projects, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and technical specifications are met. Monitor project progress, identifying deviations and ensuring problem resolution. Manage human, financial, and technical resources to optimize project execution.
  3. Industrial Process Optimization: Oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of production processes, guaranteeing efficiency, quality, and sustainability. Implement continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to reduce costs and optimize operations.
  4. Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that projects and processes comply with local and international quality, environmental, safety, hygiene, and sustainability regulations. Oversee the implementation of quality control and monitoring systems at each stage of the project and process. Lead internal and external audits to verify compliance with standards and regulations.
  5. Technological Innovation: Identify and implement new technologies that boost the organization's competitiveness and improve operational processes. Promote the use of advanced industrial design, simulation, and automation tools.
  6. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with key departments such as production, quality, logistics, purchasing, and design, ensuring the integration of efforts and alignment with organizational objectives. Interact with clients and suppliers to ensure the delivery of projects that meet their requirements and expectations.
  7. Risk Management and Decision-Making: Identify technical and operational risks associated with projects and processes, establishing preventive and corrective strategies to mitigate them. Make informed decisions to solve problems and ensure business continuity.
  8. Fostering Continuous Improvement: Propose strategic initiatives to optimize processes and strengthen the organization's competitiveness. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the engineering area.
  9. Reporting and Communication: Generate technical and executive reports that inform on project progress and process performance. Communicate results and action plans clearly and effectively to senior management and other stakeholders.
