AgileEngine is seeking an Email Marketing QA Analyst to review outbound campaigns before deployment, validating content, personalization, targeting, links, and platform setup. The role requires 2+ years in QA, familiarity with email marketing platforms, and an upper-intermediate English level.

You will verify audience segmentation, suppression lists, data integrity, and platform configurations, log defects, and own QA gates in deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of QA, marketing operations, or digital campaign review.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms and campaign QA workflows.
• Strong analytical eye to catch data/copy/configuration discrepancies.
• Understanding of audience segmentation and suppression requirements.
• Methodical, process-oriented approach using checklists.
• Clear communicator to describe defects precisely.

Responsibilities

• Review outbound campaigns prior to deployment—content, subject lines, personalization, and dynamic elements.
• Verify audience targeting logic, segmentation, and suppression lists against campaign specs.
• Validate data integrity: ensure merge tags and personalization render correctly for the right audience.
• Check all links, UTM parameters, and redirect destinations for accuracy.
• Validate platform configuration—send settings, throttling, scheduling, from name/address against specs.
• Assess campaigns for brand, legal/compliance, and messaging strategy.
• Log and track defects in the QA system; communicate findings to Development.
• Own QA sign-off gates in deployment workflow; campaigns do not deploy without QA clearance.
• Review post-launch issues and feed findings back into QA checklists.
• Maintain and improve QA documentation and testing standards over time.
• At year-end, maintain defect rates below 2% and SLA-aligned QA reviews.
