Bluelightconsulting is seeking a skilled backend engineer to join our rapidly growing team. You will design, build, and maintain high-performance APIs using Elixir and the Phoenix framework, and you will own features from conception to launch in a collaborative, agile environment.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional backend software development experience.
• Proficient with Elixir and the Phoenix framework in production environments.
• Experience with OTP, concurrency and distributed systems, and functional programming principles.
• Designing and building RESTful APIs (and/or GraphQL) and working with PostgreSQL (Ecto).
• Strong product sense and passion for building reliable, scalable systems.
• Excellent communication and collaborative, agile teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable backend systems and APIs using Elixir and Phoenix.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into scalable services.
• Own features from conception to launch, including technical specs and clean code.
• Write unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews to ensure quality.
• Identify bottlenecks and continuously improve performance and fault tolerance.
• Stay up-to-date with Elixir ecosystem and best practices.
