Bluelight LLC is seeking a skilled backend engineer to join our rapidly growing software consultancy. You will design, build, and maintain high-performance APIs using Elixir and Phoenix, collaborating with product managers and designers to deliver scalable services.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional software development experience, backend focus.
• Proficiency with Elixir and the Phoenix framework.
• Experience with OTP, concurrent and distributed systems.
• Designing RESTful APIs (and GraphQL) and working with PostgreSQL (Ecto).
• Strong product sense and collaborative, agile work style.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance APIs using Elixir and Phoenix.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements.
• Own features from conception to launch, including specs and release readiness.
• Write unit/integration tests and participate in code reviews to ensure quality.
• Identify bottlenecks, improve performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Keep up-to-date with Elixir ecosystem to drive innovation.
