Job summary

ABB in San Pedro, Nuevo Leon, Mexico is seeking a Project Operations Manager to lead sales support strategy, oversee bids, and coach the Sales Support team. You will provide technical and commercial support to internal and external customers, align with ABB standards, and drive on-time delivery across multiple electrical projects.

The role requires advanced English, familiarity with Salesforce and ERP tools, and strong stakeholder management to coordinate with Sales Managers, Project Managers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, or related engineering field.
• 5+ years of experience as a project manager in electrical, automotive, or manufacturing industries.
• Knowledge of Salesforce, SAP (ERP), and Microsoft Project.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Experience managing 15+ simultaneous projects (low-voltage products and construction projects for schools, hospitals, etc.).
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships (interacting with clients and external parties).
• Knowledge and application of ABB products; ability to read electrical and single-line diagrams.
• Customer care, automation, and process improvement skills; ability to interface and build strong relationships with customers and management.
• Advanced English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Offer technical and commercial support for internal and external customers.
• Oversee estimations, bids, and proposals ensuring alignment with ABB standards.
• Lead, develop, and coach the Sales Support team.
• Translate customer needs into detailed project plans while driving internal execution.
• Plan and implement multiple electrical projects at various customer sites.
• Serve as the primary customer contact for each project and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations for internal staff and customers.
• Provide training on ABB products and solutions.
