SSOE Group in León, Guanajuato, Mexico seeks an experienced electrical designer for large-scale industrial facilities. You will develop and revise electrical designs in Revit under senior guidance, coordinate with disciplines, and contribute to deliverables such as floor plans and one-line diagrams.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 years in electrical design, with Revit experience, attention to detail, and strong communication.

Formación

• Bachelor´s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, energy engineering, or related field preferred.
• Three to six (3-6) years of relevant experience in electrical design, low-voltage systems design, drafting, BIM modeling, or a related technical discipline.
• Prior experience as an electrical designer focused on large-scale industrial facilities.
• Experience with low- and medium-voltage systems (facilities).
• Demonstrated attention to detail and quality, initiative, proactive problem-solving, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to communicate clearly, collaborate effectively with others, take responsibility for assigned work, and demonstrate accountability and reliability.
• Prior Revit experience.
• This person will be assigned to in-country projects. Candidates are not required to be bilingual.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze project markings and notes to develop electrical designs in Revit under supervision.
• Apply design fundamentals to complete electrical systems and subsystems.
• Assist with preparing electrical deliverables like floor plans and one-line diagrams.
• Coordinate with disciplines to resolve design conflicts.
• Incorporate review comments and revisions promptly.
• Maintain project files and support QA activities.
• Participate in design reviews and internal training.

Responsibilities

The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.

• Analyze s markups, sketches, notes, and other project information to develop and revise electrical design documents in Revit, under the direction of higher-level designers and engineers.
• Applies design fundamentals to complete electrical systems or subsystems .
• Performs a variety of routine design assignments, with increasing responsibility, under the direction of Senior Designers or Senior Engineers , with work effort frequently checked during progress and reviewed upon completion.
• Supports the preparation of electrical design deliverables, which may include floor plans, device layouts, pathway plans, one-line diagrams, details, schedules, and installation documentation.
• Works from both own designs and designs of others; compiles data and performs routine design computations to support engineering and project requirements.
• Coordinates assigned work with electrical, architectural, mechanical, structural, and other project disciplines to help identify and resolve design conflicts.
• Incorporates review comments, redlines, and revisions accurately and promptly.
• Reviews work for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and alignment with project standards before submitting it for review.
• Maintains working knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards and studies non-routine code issues with guidance from senior team memberss
• Assists with identifying and solving design problems but is expected to seek assistance from more experienced designers and engineers when needed.
• Maintains organized project files and supports documentation, coordination, and quality-control activities throughout the design process.
• Participates in project coordination meetings, design reviews, and internal training opportunities as assigned.
