SSOE Group in León, Mexico is seeking a design professional to develop engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Revit for large-scale industrial projects, including semiconductor facilities. You will extract and analyze vendor documentation in English to plan drawings and ensure cross-discipline coordination within BIM.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in architecture or civil engineering, 4+ years of design experience, advanced English, and strong communication.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, civil engineering or related major.
• 4+ years as designer using AutoCAD or Revit to produce engineering design packages.
• Experience with large-scale industrial projects (Automotive, Manufacturing, Semiconductor).
• High efficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience is a strong plus.
• Advanced English is a must requirement.

Responsabilidades

• Extract and analyze vendor technical documentation, engineering data, sketches and notes in English to plan drawings.
• Develop design templates, 3D models, drawing sheets in AutoCAD and Revit with high accuracy and cross-discipline coordination.
• Create AutoCAD drawing templates, blocks and layer standards for semiconductor facilities.
• Develop design modifications and tie-in details for renovations using AutoCAD.
• Produce layouts, plan views, elevation/section views and BIM coordination.
• Stay current with Revit updates, BIM workflows and emerging design technologies.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently extract and analyze various vendor technical documentation, engineering data, sketches, notes and other input materials provided in English to determine and plan the best approach to prepare drawings.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to develop design templates, 3D models, drawing sheets, ensuring high levels of accuracy, data integrity, and cross-discipline coordination within the BIM environment.
• Create and maintain AutoCAD drawing templates, blocks, and layer standards specific to semiconductor facility requirements
• Develop design modifications and tie-in details for existing facilities using AutoCAD for renovation and expansion projects
• Perform routine designs including layouts, design plan views, elevation/section views
• Stay current with Revit updates, BIM workflows, and emerging design technologies to drive innovation and efficiency within the department.
• Apply discipline-specific design standards, codes, and best practices.
• Works under minumum supervision with work effort occasionally checked during progress and reviewed upon completion.
• Stay superorganized with the time management to multitask and meet design deadlines in a fast-paced envieroment.
• Excellent communication skill to coordinate with project managers, leads, and other design disciplines. May have minimal external customer contact.

Qualifications

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, civil engineering or other engineering design related major
• 4 + years as designer using AutoCAD or Revit to produce engineering design packages
• Prior experience within large-scale industrial projects (Automotive, Manufacturing, Semiconductor industry).
• High efficiency in AutoCAD
• Experience with Revit (Structural design) is a strong plus
• Advanced English is a must requirement
