Job summary

Hussmann Monterrey Operations is seeking a Safety Coordinator to lead and drive the EHS management system implementation at our Monterrey manufacturing site. You will champion a culture of safety, coordinate risk assessments, training, and incident investigations to protect employees and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in EHS.
• Knowledge of Mexican regulations (STPS) and ISO 45001.
• Experience in incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Ability to train large audiences.
• Able to coordinate safety programs and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of EHS programs for ISO 45001 and Mexican regulations.
• Develop procedures, risk assessments, permits, and records for safe operations.
• Coordinate Critical Risk Management programs such as LOTO, work at heights, electrical safety, and machine guarding.
• Promote proactive safety culture through GEMBA walks and safety campaigns.
• Coordinate contractor safety activities and inductions.
• Support EHS management system and KPI reporting.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and drills.
• Lead incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Monitor KPIs and audits, ensuring timely closure of findings.
• Participate in audits and regulatory inspections.
• Provide EHS training to employees, supervisors, and visitors.
