Vertiv is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to develop and lead the factory's environmental, health, and safety programs in a Maquiladora setting. You will ensure regulatory compliance across local, state, and federal rules in Mexico and drive continuous improvement in EHS practices.
You will lead investigations, training, documentation, and liaison with regulatory agencies, while managing budgets and safety initiatives across plants.
Develop, implement and lead the factory's EHS programs and strategies to ensure a safe and environmentally compliant work environment. This role involves a blend of strategic planning, operational execution, and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at minimizing risks and promoting sustainability across all operations. Provides consultation and training to employees on environmental, health, and safety matters. Implements, monitors, and enforces environmental, health, and safety programs, policies, and procedures. Develops environmental, health, and safety plans, programs, and procedures. Provide strategic leadership and oversight to ensure ongoing compliance in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations in Mexico.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Maquiladora environment in similar position.
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in occupational health, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety or related field.
