Lear Corporation in Chihuahua seeks an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety Leader to drive a strong EHS culture and ensure compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and related regulations. You will coordinate annual EHS plans, lead accident prevention, audits, risk assessments, training, and MASS committees, partnering with Plant Management to improve safety metrics and protect assets.

Engineering degree required and +3 years in manufacturing EHS leadership.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of experience as EHS Leader in manufacturing.
• Engineering degree required.
• Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate annual Environmental, Health, and Safety plans, including objectives and reporting progress.
• Develop accident prevention plans and lead their implementation within the plant.
• Implement and monitor the Safe Machine Program.
• Develop the annual Safety Plan with Plant Management.
• Participate in accident investigations and coordinate cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in internal and external audits.
• Actively participate in MASS committees.
• Evaluate the MASS risk premium and coordinate programs aimed at reducing it through accident prevention initiatives.
• Conduct risk assessments to protect plant assets and facilities.
• Determine training plans for employees based on risk levels to ensure safe job performance.
• Perform legislative and regulatory activities related to MASS to determine their impact on operations.
• Support the implementation and follow-up of the 5S program and participate in weekly/monthly audits.
• Develop action plans to improve the plant's frequency and severity rate trends.
• Implement and execute Human Resources initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Lear Corporation policies, Quality and Environmental policies.
• Ensure legal and environmental compliance during external inspections and audits.
• Support ISO 14001, CTPAT, ISO 45001 and related audits.
