MAHLE Mexico is seeking an EHS Coordinator to lead environmental health and safety programs at the Ramos Arizpe plant. You will manage regulatory compliance, audits, and waste management while driving continuous improvement and safety culture with plant leadership and staff.

You will coordinate audits for ISO standards, supervise contractors, and deliver EHS training, ensuring safe operations and regulatory adherence across all levels.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health, or related field.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in automotive or related manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other EHS-related applications.
• Certified Lead Auditor with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 19011, CTPAT, TISAX, and compliance knowledge.
• Knowledge of fire protection systems and safety device controls.
• Experience supervising security providers and contractors to ensure safety compliance.
• Experience delivering training on EHS and industrial hygiene programs.
• Experience conducting hazard analysis and risk assessments.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate EHS accidents, incidents, and near misses.
• Coordinate internal and external audits for ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 19011, OHSAS, CTPAT, and OEA.
• Ensure compliance with municipal, state, and federal regulations.
• Coordinate hazardous waste management activities and records.
• Evaluate equipment and processes to identify workplace risks.
• Train employees on EHS procedures and requirements.
• Define EHS objectives and targets with management.
• Monitor compliance with environmental and safety legal obligations.
• Maintain safety and hygiene conditions for efficient plant operations.
• Manage and resolve workplace conflicts.
• Collaborate with local and corporate teams at all levels.
• Oversee transportation cost controls and review logistics incidents.
• Administer service areas support.
