Job summary

SIG Group is seeking an analytical EHS Analyst to promote a strong EHS culture across our manufacturing sites in Mexico. You will participate in risk assessment, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance, while supporting ISO 9001/14001/45001 and NOMs/STPS requirements.

You will lead audits, manage documentation, and coordinate supplier EHS reviews, contributing to safe, sustainable packaging operations and continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in EHS, Industrial Safety, Occupational Health, or Environmental functions within manufacturing.
• Knowledge of EHS legislation and NOMs (NOMs/STPS).
• Experience implementing ISO 9001/14001/45001 and internal audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Promote and strengthen the EHS culture across the organization.
• Actively participate in identification, assessment, and mitigation of plant risks.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing reports and corrective and preventive action plans.
• Conduct periodic inspections of facilities, machinery, and safety equipment.
• Follow up on preventive and corrective actions to avoid recurrence.
• Perform regular inspections of fire protection equipment.
• Support environmental initiatives and sustainability programs.
• Assist in the development and implementation of NOMs and STPS requirements.
• Audit critical suppliers on EHS and safety-related matters.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation related to legal requirements and management systems.
• Monitor compliance with applicable corporate and regulatory standards.
• Review projects, machinery, and facilities to ensure safety compliance.
• Develop and update EHS procedures.
