A leading energy company in Mexico is seeking an Efficiency and Electricity Project Analyst to prepare reports on electricity consumption, monitor transactions in the energy market, and analyze rates. Candidates should have strong data analysis skills, advanced proficiency in Excel, and be fluent in English. This role offers an innovative work environment focused on sustainability and efficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare daily electricity reports for the Ministry of Energy and Mines.
• Prepare periodic reports for monitoring electricity supply contracts.
• Prepare presentations for senior management.
• Collaborate on forms for CRE/CENACE/CFE and other entities.
• Follow up on billing procedures.
• Assist in billing procedures and ensure accuracy.
• Work with legal/tax on contract conditions and compliance.
• Support energy project evaluations for NEG and clients.

EFFICIENCY AND ELECTRICITY PROJECT ANALYST

Objective: Prepare reports related to electricity consumption, fuel consumption, and emissions at plants. Monitor and operate load centers in the Mexican wholesale electricity market. Analyze electricity rates and electricity supply proposals, propose and/or evaluate energy efficiency projects at operating plants, assess the impact of regulatory changes, and manage electricity contracts and CELs.

Overview

This section summarizes the role and its focus on reporting, analysis, and project evaluation related to electricity and energy efficiency in the Mexican market.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily electricity reports for the Ministry of Energy and Mines (MEM).
• Prepare periodic reports for monitoring electricity supply contracts.
• Prepare presentations for senior management.
• Prepare reports using Power BI software.
• Collaborate in completing forms for CRE/CENACE/CFE and other private entities.
• Follow up on billing procedures.
• Collaborate with the legal/tax department to adapt legal conditions in contracts.
• Support in energy project evaluations in which Alpek or client companies seek NEG’s opinion.
