Placements24 seeks a seasoned Regional Sales Director for Oaxaca City, Oaxaca, Mexico. You will lead a diverse FMCG sales team, manage distributor relationships, and drive regional growth.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years in FMCG sales leadership, a Bachelor's and MBA preferred, and a proven track record of delivering measurable results through strategy, coaching, and negotiation. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related field.
• MBA is a plus.
• 10+ years of sales leadership experience in FMCG.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing sales strategies.
• Strong leadership, coaching and team-building skills.
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent Spanish; English is a strong asset.
• Deep understanding of the Mexican market, particularly Oaxaca region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets and market share goals.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of success and accountability.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key distributors, retailers, and clients.
• Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Manage the regional sales budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
• Oversee the implementation of promotional campaigns and sales initiatives within the region.
• Provide regular reports and performance reviews to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical sales practices.
