Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Corporate Finance and Planning Manager for Oaxaca City. You will lead FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning to drive regional performance and strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate has a master's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field, 8+ years in corporate finance or FP&A (multinational preferred), fluent Spanish with English, and strong modeling, leadership and ERP skills (SAP/Oracle).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• 8+ years in corporate finance, FP&A, or investment banking.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP and financial regulations.
• Proven experience in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
• Multinational corporate environment experience preferred; relocation to Oaxaca City may be required.
• Spanish fluency; English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A process including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Develop complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and scenario analysis.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and debt financing activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
• Evaluate mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Provide financial guidance to various business units and departments.
• Optimize financial processes and implement financial systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Stay informed about economic trends and their potential impact on the company's financial performance.
