The ideal candidate has 10+ years in public affairs, exceptional leadership, and a track record of managing budgets and teams. Hybrid work with travel is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field as listed in requirements.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in corporate communications or public affairs or senior PR leadership.
• Proven expertise in strategic communication, stakeholder management, and crisis resolution.
• Proven ability to navigate complex political and regulatory environments.
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in Spanish with English as a significant advantage.
• Experience leading teams and managing departmental budgets.
• Hybrid role with in-person presence near Acapulco, Guerrero, with travel.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement integrated communication and public affairs strategies for the assigned region.
• Manage and strengthen relationships with key government officials, community stakeholders, and media representatives.
• Serve as a senior advisor on public perception and potential reputational risks.
• Lead crisis communication and issue management efforts, ensuring effective and timely responses.
• Oversee the creation and dissemination of all official communications, statements, and policy positions.
• Monitor the political, social, and economic environment, providing strategic insights to senior leadership.
• Represent the company in public forums, conferences, and community engagements.
• Manage the communication and public affairs team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Formation

Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Communications, Law, International Relations, or related field
