About the Role

Our client, a prominent organization operating within the media and public relations sectors, is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director de Comunicación y Asuntos Públicos to lead their initiatives in the vital coastal region, with a primary connection to Acapulco, Guerrero. This senior leadership position requires a visionary individual to shape and execute comprehensive communication strategies, manage public perception, and foster crucial relationships with government entities, community leaders, and the media. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in public affairs, crisis management, and stakeholder engagement, coupled with a deep understanding of the regional socio-political landscape. • Superior written and verbal communication skills in Spanish; fluency in English is a significant advantage.
• Deep understanding of the socio-political and economic landscape of coastal Mexico, especially Guerrero .
• Experience in leading teams and managing departmental budgets.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity, with regular presence required at our offices near Acapulco, Guerrero , and flexibility for travel.
