Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc. is seeking a hands-on DevOps/Platform Engineer to strengthen Kubernetes platform operations and CI/CD ecosystems. The role focuses on scaling cloud-native infrastructure, improving deployment pipelines, and enforcing IaC standards in AWS.

You will contribute to operational resilience while owning critical workloads in production. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of Kubernetes production experience, Terraform IaC proficiency, and strong GitHub Actions skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of production Kubernetes operation and optimization.
• 2+ years designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Terraform IaC expertise including state management and governance.
• Proficiency in AWS (VPC, IAM, EC2, EK).
• Knowledge of secrets management and secure configurations.
• English proficiency at B2+ level.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and optimize Kubernetes clusters supporting production workloads.
• Improve cluster scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Implement best practices for resource management, autoscaling, and workload isolation.
• Enhance observability with metrics, logging, and tracing.
• Support multi-team onboarding and platform enablement.
• Design, refactor, and scale GitHub Actions pipelines.
• Reduce deployment risk through automation, validation, and testing improvements.
• Maintain Terraform-based infrastructure including state management and modularity.
• Support environment provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Manage and optimize AWS services including networking, IAM, compute, and storage.
• Participate in incident troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement initiatives.

We are seeking a hands-on DevOps / Platform Engineer to strengthen our Kubernetes platform operations and CI/CD ecosystem. The engineer will actively contribute to scaling cloud-native infrastructure, improving deployment pipelines, enforcing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards, and enhancing operational resilience.
