Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc in Mexico is seeking a Senior Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer to design and operate secure, scalable cloud platforms and Kubernetes clusters. You will build CI/CD workflows, implement GitOps, and ensure reliability through automation.

You will develop IaC with Terraform or ARM templates, create Helm charts, harden Docker images, and improve observability with monitoring and logging. Strong collaboration across teams, Agile delivery, and good English are required to drive

Qualifications

• 3+ years with Microsoft Azure services (compute, storage, networking, databases)
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
• Experience with Kubernetes on Azure (AKS), including deployment, scaling, and operations
• Proven project delivery skills in Agile environments
• Strong infrastructure as code skills with Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates
• Strong containerization skills with Docker, including image hardening and optimization
• Strong collaboration skills with clear communication across technical stakeholders
• Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving and automation
• Understanding of cloud security practices and logging solutions
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2)

Responsibilities

• Design Azure infrastructure architectures across compute, storage, networking, and data services
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and release processes using Azure DevOps
• Deploy, manage, and scale AKS clusters with reliable networking, security, and storage configurations
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform or ARM templates to standardize environments
• Create and maintain Helm charts to package and version Kubernetes applications
• Harden and optimize Docker images and container build processes for security and performance
• Integrate monitoring, logging, and alerting practices to improve platform observability and reliability
• Automate operational tasks using scripts and tooling to reduce manual work and improve consistency
• Coordinate with engineers to troubleshoot production issues and improve platform resilience
• Enforce Git-based workflows and change management practices to support controlled deployments
• Evaluate and apply container scanning tools to improve supply chain security
