Flex seeks a Developer Application in Guadalajara, South Campus to ensure IT systems continuity by planning and coordinating software development. You will design, build, test, and deploy applications, while collaborating with stakeholders to select technologies and optimize life cycle processes.

The role requires strong Angular, .NET 8, NodeJS, and SQL Server experience, plus familiarity with WCF, DevExpress, Visual Studio, and CI/CD. Travel may be required.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, industrial engineering, programming or related.

Responsabilidades

• Develop business solutions by working with required stakeholders to develop the strategy for application life cycle.
• Partner with business stakeholders & engineering staff to evaluate & select appropriate technology to meet business needs.
• Work closely with server or database administration for migrations, OS upgrades, and performance tuning to ensure smooth operations.
• Troubleshoot and debug codes to identify error sources.
• Follow IT security guidelines to fix and prevent breaches.
• Contribute with solution architect on the development lifecycle.
• Maintain applications and upgrade frameworks.
• Research new technologies and incorporate into solutions.
• Write and maintain program documentation, testing changes and fixes.
• Review features coded by others.
• Provide technical assistance by answering inquiries about errors or questions.
• Conduct presentations and train end users on projects.
• Install and test upgrades of external components and update applications as needed.
• Prepare time and cost estimates for projects if needed.
• Review project proposals to plan scope and funding.
• Troubleshoot P1 incidents and provide solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prototype and refine programs for client approval.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Developer Application located in Guadalajara, South Campus.

Reporting to the IT Project Manager, the Developer Application, in charge for ensuring continuity of IT systems by providing the planning, technical business, and project coordination necessary to implement architects, designs, builds, tests, develops software and resolve technical business solutions that automate specific business processes.

What a typical day looks like:

• Develop business solutions by working with required stakeholders to develop the strategy for application life cycle.
• Partner with business stakeholders & engineering staff to evaluate & select appropriate technology (frontend, backend, interfaces, etc) vendor and/or applications to meet business needs.
• Work closely with server or database administration for: any server/database migration, operating system upgrade, fine tune on database performance to ensure all applications are running smoothly without impacting company day-to-day operation.
• Troubleshoot and debugging of codes to find causes of errors.
• Follow IT security team guidelines to fix and prevent application security breaches.
• Contributes closely with solution architect on the entire development live cicle.
• Maintain applications and upgrade existing frameworks.
• Research on new technologies / frameworks and incorporate in application solutions.
• Write and maintain documentation to describe program development, coding, testing changes and corrections.
• Research and evaluate software and hardware to assist in programming or to use as program platforms.
• Recognize technical requirements, user stories & testing plans.
• Develop frontend, backend, database scripts and APIs.
• Create and run unit/integration/system test for automated execution to find errors on earlier implementation phases.
• Assists for UAT (User Acceptance Test)
• Review implementation features coded by another developers.
• Provide technical assistance by answering to inquiries regarding errors, problems or questions with program.
• Conduct presentations and train end users of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules.
• Install and test upgrades of externally developed application components
• Upgrade application and correct errors to maintain system after implementation.
• May Prepare time and cost estimates for completing projects.
• May review project proposal or plan to choose timeframe, funding requirements and procedures for accomplishing project goals.
• Troubleshooting and provide solutions for business critical P1 incidents if any.
• Consult with client Business System Specialist and other internal stakeholders to prototype, refine, test and debug programs to attain client approval.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, industrial engineering, programming or related.
