Flex is seeking a Linux Systems Analyst located at Guadalajara North Campus to support Linux server infrastructure and drive system improvements. You will monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot the Linux environment while collaborating with global IT teams on migrations and security updates.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/SE and 1-3 years of enterprise Linux experience, with knowledge of RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu. Experience with VMware, cloud platforms, and automation tools is a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 1-3 years of Linux administration experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience with Linux distributions such as RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, or Oracle Linux.
• Networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewalls.
• Scripting with Bash, Python, or Shell scripting.
• Knowledge of monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting methodologies.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Analyst, Linux Systems located in Guadalajara North Campus.

What a typical day looks like:

• Monitor, maintain, and optimize Linux server infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
• Research, analyze, and resolve complex system issues while providing technical support to internal users and business teams.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Linux operating systems, applications, and supporting infrastructure.
• Implement system enhancements, patches, and security updates following corporate standards and best practices.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with global IT teams on infrastructure projects, system migrations, and technology implementations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, system configurations, and operational guidelines.
• Participate in troubleshooting activities, root cause analysis, and incident resolution to ensure business continuity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• Basic to intermediate experience administering Linux operating systems in a corporate environment.
• Knowledge of Linux distributions such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS, Ubuntu, or Oracle Linux.
• Familiarity with networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewalls.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Shell Scripting.
• Knowledge of system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively within a global team environment.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience as a Linux Administrator, Linux Analyst, Systems Administrator, or similar role.
• Experience managing Linux servers in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, or cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is a plus.
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with security best practices, patch management, and access control.
• Intermediate to Advanced English level.
• Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills.
