Intel Corporation is seeking a Student / Intern to join a SoC design team in Guadalajara. You will contribute to IP-to-SoC integration, create automation scripts, and debug digital simulations while collaborating with design engineers and micro-architects to implement efficient design methodologies.

The role emphasizes delivering high-quality output on deadlines and functioning effectively in a hybrid, cross-site team environment.

Formación

  • Pursuing a Master’s or PhD’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, with at least one year remaining before graduation
  • Four months of experience in digital design, ASIC design flow and computer architecture
  • At least one programming/scripting language such as C/C++, Perl, Ruby, Python, and Unix (Linux)
  • Hardware description languages such as VHDL, Verilog or System Verilog
  • Basic skills pertaining to pre-Si validation, e.g., logic simulators (Xilinx, Quartus, Modelsim, VCS)
  • Advanced English level
  • Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico; this role does not accept visa or immigration sponsorship

Minimum Qualifications

    • Debug capabilities
  • Advanced English level
  • Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico; this role does not accept visa or immigration sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic testbench development and test scenario writing, functional coverage concepts and implementation
Additional Requirements

A candidate who accepts an offer of employment in Mexico is required to present their own personal identification information and numbers for Mexican Security Number (NSS), Tax Identification Number (RFC) and CURP identification number.

Job Type, Shift and Location

Job Type: Student / Intern. Shift: Shift 1 (Mexico). Primary Location: Mexico, Guadalajara.

Work Model

This role is eligible for a hybrid work model, allowing employees to split their time between working on-site at the assigned Intel site and off-site.
