Intel is seeking a software engineer to develop and maintain diagnostic tools for Intel Servers, ensuring high-quality launches and in-Fleet experiences. This temporary two-year contract requires a passion for solving development problems and collaboration with internal and external teams.

Qualifications include a STEM degree and strong C/C++ skills; on-site at Mexico, Guadalajara; English resume required; 6+ years of experience and permanent work authorization in Mexico.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree, Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical, Electronics or related STEM field.
• 6+ years in software development, including C/C++ and debugging.
• Experience with Linux/Windows internals, drivers, and runtime.
• Intermediate to Advanced English and permanent right to work in Mexico.

This is a temporary position, with a contract length of 2 years. In this temporary two-years role, you will play a crucial part in developing cutting-edge software capabilities for Intel Server products, ensuring high-quality launches and in-Fleet product experiences.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain diagnostic and analysis tools to debug and optimize Intel Servers' performance.


• Define and drive critical software validation tasks across platforms.


• Collaborate with internal and external teams to replicate and debug issues, providing impact assessments and solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.

• Bachelor's degree, Masters’s or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical, Electronics or related STEM field.


• 6+ years of experience of experience in any of the following:
  
  
  
  • Software development experience.
  
  
  • C/C++ programming and debugging, including object-oriented design, multithreaded programming techniques
  
  
  • Software Validation and CI/CD methods
  
  
  • Familiarity with system software components such as Linux and Windows internals, drivers, and runtime.
  
  
  
  


• Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (both verbal and written).


• Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Mexico.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in:
  
  
  
  • Low level firmware coding and debugging
  
  
  • Intel Xeon architecture, including Un-Core and platform.
  
  
  • Xeon performance monitoring tools and hardware hooks.
  
  
  • Familiarity with thermal and power customer validation and debug use models.
