Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Demand Planning professional to monitor and adjust the production plan, ensuring product availability and inventory goals.

The role involves analyzing data, managing orders and changes, and acting as the main liaison for customers and internal teams. Candidates should have a BS degree in a related field, strong analytical skills, and at least 3 years of demand planning experience, with ERP experience (QAD, SAP) and proficiency in MS Excel.

Qualifications

• BS degree required in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or Business Management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, organization and communication skills.
• 70% English level, written and oral communication.
• 3 years of experience in Demand Planning.
• ERP System knowledge (QAD, SAP, etc).
• MS Excel and MS Outlook proficiency.
• Power BI knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and controlling new sales orders, identifying key elements and communicating downstream for required actions.
• Auditing order change requests from customers from material, production plan, technical and logistics perspectives.
• Serving as primary contact for customer inquiries; providing feedback about lead time, timeline, order change, reschedules.
• Aligning customers' orders with Sales production plan to achieve monthly goals.
• Coordinating with other departments to manage sales and customer priorities.
