Freudenberg Home and Cleaning Solutions in Mexico City is seeking a Demand Planner to maintain statistical models in SAP, monitor forecast accuracy, and coordinate with Supply Planning, Purchasing and Logistics to align demand with supply.

You will develop short-, medium- and long-term forecasts, analyze deviations, evaluate scenarios, and drive continuous improvement to improve service levels and inventory turnover.

Formación

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
• 3 years of experience in similar roles.
• Intermediate English required.
• Advanced Excel, SAP, and Excel suite proficiency.
• Proficient in SAP, IBP, and Power BI.
• Ability to analyze data and interpret information.
• Strong knowledge of statistical forecasting models.
• Ability to build demand scenarios and evaluate financial impact.
• Forecast management and decision-oriented analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and improve statistical models and planning assumptions in SAP, ensuring data quality and reliability.
• Identify demand risks (volatility, product mix changes, inflation effects) and propose scenarios.
• Analyze deviations between forecast and actual sales, identify root causes and define action plans.
• Monitor and report KPIs such as MAPE, BIAS, Forecast Accuracy, and OTIF, driving improvements.
• Coordinate with Supply Planning, Purchasing, and Logistics to ensure product availability aligned with projected demand.
• Develop, analyze, and maintain short-, medium-, and long-term demand forecasts considering history, trends, seasonality, promotions, and new launches.
• Develop alternative demand scenarios and evaluate impact on inventory, service levels, and working capital.
• Anticipate demand risks and activate contingency plans to protect customer service.
• Identify inventory optimization opportunities without sacrificing service levels.
• Collaborate with Finance to align forecasts, budgets, and financial projections.
• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on forecast accuracy and plan reliability.
