Emerson, a global technology company, is seeking a Procurement/Materials Planner in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. The role focuses on coordinating with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and accurate promise dates, maintaining system updates, and supporting production planning.

You will work with cross-functional teams, apply analytical tools, and escalate issues as needed. A bachelor's degree and 2 years supplier/customer experience are required, with MRP management skills.

• Inquire with supplier when promise dates miss requirements and escalate with buyer.
• Ensure supplier ships on time so materials arrive on time.
• Obtain shipment tracking information and share when requested.
• Review material short reports and Oracle to expedite materials as needed.
• Inform buyer of discrepancies between shipped and ordered quantities when they exceed orders.
• Gather information for reports and complete them as requested by the area manager.
• Escalate chronic non-delivery problems with buyer.
• Provide delivery information to production and planning teams.
• Maintain excellent communication with support departments and suppliers.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Inquire with supplier when promise dates do not meet requirement and escalated with buyer.
• Ensure that supplier ships on time so that material arrives on time.
• Obtain shipment tracking information and share when requested.
• Review material short reports and Oracle system to expedite materials as needed.

• Obtain Information for reports and fill out reports as requested by area manager.
• Escalate chronic non-delivery problems with buyer.
• Provide delivery information to production and planning areas.
• Maintain excellent communication with support departments and suppliers.
