Emerson is seeking a senior software engineer in Mexico to lead backend development across the .NET stack, SQL Server databases, and ERP integrations. You will work with global teams, travel internationally, and mentor others.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years, a Bachelor's degree, bilingual English, and experience with DevOps, AI tools, and manufacturing processes. The role offers growth, collaboration and a path to impact across the organization.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• 10 years of experience in software development and integration.
• Fully bilingual English language skills.
• Ability to travel internationally (USA visa).
• Experience with ERP systems and enterprise integration.

Responsabilidades

• Solid experience in back-end languages and frameworks such as .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC.
• Strong SQL Server database design, maintenance, and reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) and enterprise system integration.
• Knowledge of SCM, procurement and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of intelligent automation, RPA and AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot Studio.
• DevOps and Agile practices in manufacturing environments are a plus.
• Handle support tickets and change management; train users and maintain docs.
• Interact with customers to define requirements and provide optimal solutions; perform regression testing.
• Strong presentation, collaboration and facilitation skills.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Solid experience in back-end programming languages and frameworks, including .NET, C#,
  Visual Studio, ASP.NET, MVC, and JavaScript.
• Strong database structure set-up and maintenance using SQL, including query and reporting
  tools, APIs and expertise in SQL Server in enterprise environments.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and enterprise system integration.
• Knowledge of SCM, Procurement and Manufacturing functional processes
• Knowledge of Intelligent Automation solutions, RPA and cutting-edge AI technologies and tools
  like Claude, ChatGPT, MS Copilot Studio, etc.
• Working experience with DevOps and Agile Process in a manufacturing environment is a plus
• Handling support tickets and following a change management process for development and
  enhancement.
• Interacting with customers to understand requirements and provide an optimal solution as
  well as performing ongoing support of implemented systems, including training new users,
  keeping documentation updated, troubleshooting issues, and regression testing.
• Strong presentation, collaborative and facilitation skills (oral and written).
