Job summary

WTS Energy México is seeking a Data & Infrastructure Engineer to provide L1/L2 technical support for IT infrastructure, networks, and applications in Mexico City. You will configure LAN/WAN, VPN, and firewall rules while ensuring uptime and secure service delivery.

The role requires collaboration with engineering, networking, product, and operations teams, with emphasis on incident management, change control, and documentation to support continuous improvements.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, networking, or technical support.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Systems, Telecommunications, Electronics, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, VLANs, IP addressing, DHCP, and routing.
Experience with firewalls, NAT, and VPN; Palo Alto VM-Series is highly desirable.
Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Provide L1/L2 technical support for IT infrastructure, networks, and applications.
Configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VLANs, IP addressing, DHCP, and routing.
Support device deployment, system configuration, and connectivity validation.
Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, security policies, NAT rules, and VPN tunnels.
Monitor application performance, system availability, and data flows.
Coordinate with engineering, networking, product, and operations teams.
Follow cybersecurity, service management, and change-control procedures.
Maintain technical documentation and incident records.
