Bain & Company in Mexico City seeks a Data Engineer to join Coro's data platform and build production-grade Python services and data pipelines. You will collaborate with analytics, engineering, and business teams to deliver reliable data products that power Coro’s AI-accelerated tools.

The role emphasizes designing scalable pipelines, testing, and deploying in cloud environments, with a focus on data quality, governance, and cost efficiency.

Formación

• 2-4+ years of experience shipping production Python and building ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with Python data tooling and type validation.
• Strong testing discipline and CI/CD awareness.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms and data governance.
• Ability to design sound schemas and query data effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain batch and streaming pipelines in Python.
• Write reusable Python libraries and internal packages.
• Build Python services and APIs exposing data to downstream apps.
• Write unit, integration, and data-contract tests with CI.
• Profile and optimize code for runtime, memory, cost.
• Deploy and operate code in cloud with containers and IaC.
• Enforce secrets handling and data protection at all stages.
• Refactor toward simpler designs and replace scripts with packaged code.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring.
