Bain & Company in Mexico is seeking a Data Engineer for Coro’s NGSS to design, build, and operate Python data pipelines and services powering Coro’s AI‑accelerated data products, enabling revenue teams to identify opportunities and drive growth at scale.

You’ll work on batch and streaming pipelines, write reusable Python libraries, deploy code in the cloud with containers and CI/CD, and collaborate with analytics, engineering, and business teams to deliver reliable data products.

Formación

• Strong, idiomatic Python with typing and error handling.
• Software engineering fundamentals: modular design, packaging, API design.
• Testing discipline: pytest, fixtures, mocking, and testable code.
• Debugging and profiling; performance, concurrency, memory in Python.
• Working knowledge of SQL and data governance practices.
• Able to explain trade-offs to technical and business audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain batch and streaming pipelines in Python, including orchestration, scheduling, and monitoring.
• Write reusable, well-typed Python libraries and internal packages.
• Build Python services and APIs that expose data to downstream applications and integrate with APIs.
• Write unit, integration, and data-contract tests with CI coverage.
• Profile and optimize Python code and data processing jobs for runtime, memory, and cost.
• Deploy and operate code in the cloud using containers, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD.
• Enforce access controls and sensitive-data protections at every stage of the data lifecycle.
• Find and fix efficiency, reliability, cost, and correctness problems; replace one-off scripts with packaged code.
• Implement data quality checks, validation, and monitoring to catch issues early.
