PPG Industries is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer in Mexico to lead customer quality concerns and act as the liaison between Technical Laboratory, Sales, and Manufacturing Operations. You will drive root cause analysis, coordinate corrective actions, and ensure timely responses to customer issues.

On-site availability is required to build strong customer relationships, manage warranty and post-warranty matters, and promote continuous improvement through CSRs and IATF 16949 Core Tools.

Formación

• 3+ years in technical, manufacturing, or quality roles.
• 3+ years customer-facing experience in Automotive or Industrial sectors.
• Knowledge of structured problem-solving methodologies and CSRs.
• Certified Green Belt or Black Belt and internal auditing experience.
• Advanced English proficiency and on-site availability.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and resolve customer quality concerns and claims, ensuring documentation, tracking, closure.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activities with teams to prevent issue recurrence.
• Communicate with customers regarding issue status, action plans, and resolution progress.
• Build customer relationships by addressing requirements and providing effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with Customer-Specific Requirements through audits, monitoring, and continuous improvement programs.
• Promote customer quality goals and standards throughout the organization.
• Lead quality improvement projects focused on reducing customer complaints and enhancing quality and delivery performance.
• Update quality documentation, including FMEAs, Control Plans, and related records based on corrective action outcomes.
• Manage customer non-conformance responses through customer portals, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and timelines.
• Improve by delivering training, sharing lessons learned, strengthening quality systems, and implementing operational best practices.
