Job summary

OPmobility busca un/una Ingeniero/a de Calidad de Métodos para nuestra planta en Monterrey, México. Su misión será establecer y actualizar planes de contingencia, tiempos de estudio y documentación de equipos, garantizando el cumplimiento de los requisitos del cliente y las normas de fabricación.

El/la candidato/a ideal deberá poseer ingeniería o título equivalente, dominio del inglés y del español, experiencia en Lean y sector automotriz, y capacidad de liderazgo; se valorarán prácticas con

Qualifications

• Ingeniería requerida.
• Bilingüe en inglés y español o dominio de ambos idiomas.
• Experiencia en la industria automotriz y Lean Manufacturing es deseable.
• Interés por jóvenes graduados o técnicos con experiencia previa en Calidad (VIE).
• Conocimiento en time study, AutoCAD y flujo de procesos es útil.
• Puede trabajar en equipo, con liderazgo efectivo y enfoque disciplinado.

Responsibilities

• Configurar y actualizar planes de contingencia en planta.
• Calcular capacidad requerida y anticipar modificaciones de equipos.
• Definir y actualizar instrucciones de trabajo para operadores.
• Realizar estudios de tiempo estandarizados y promover su estandarización.
• Definir y gestionar CAPEX para nuevos proyectos en línea con la estrategia de planta.
• Organizar pruebas de equipos y procesos conforme al plan de puesta en marcha.
• Proveer documentación de nuevos equipos a la operación.
• Proponer soluciones técnicas para mejorar productividad, calidad y seguridad.
• Gestionar cambios de ingeniería en planta (Producto y/o Proceso).

Position Title: Quality Methods Engineer
Location: Monterrey, Mexico
Contract Details: Full-time, permanent

Main Responsibilities:

• Set up and continuously update plant contingency plan.Make sure that they are understood and applied
• Calculate required capacity and anticipate equipment modification and capacity adjustments
• Set up and continuously update work instruction for operators. Make sure that they are understood and applied
• Set up and continuously update manufacturing Time studies . Make sure that this process is standardized
• For New products
• Define and submit to MPL, Capex requested for integration of new project in line with Plant industrial strategy
• Set up Pre serial organization in the OP plant or SILS. Make sure that production of pre-series is done according customer requirement.
• Collect relevant inputs and submit them during Project Lesson learned led by MPL
• Organize and coordinate new equipment and processes trials in the plant in line with commissioning plan with target to have acceptance (Provisional and final)
• Provide to operation team new equipment documentation
• Propose the right technical solutions improving manufacturing performance : productivity, quality, safety, availability
• Lead activities required by Engineering change request in the plant ( Product and/or Process )

Desired Profile:

• Engineering- degree required
• Good command of English + local language
• Automotive industry and Lean Manufacturing adequate background
• Open for young engineer graduate or Technician with former experience in Quality as trainee or intern (VIE)
• Time study, Auto cad, and process flow knowledge helpful
• Team player, effective leadership, self-determined in approach to tasks, systematic and disciplined approach to activities
