Wallenius Wilhelmsen group is seeking an Operational Support Analyst to monitor inbound and outbound vehicle activities across internal and customer systems in Mexico. You will develop forecasts, produce regular performance reports, and participate in customer meetings to convey updates and action plans.

The role requires at least 2 years in logistics or automotive supply chain operations, strong MS Office skills, and intermediate English capability.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics operations, inventory control, shipment planning, or automotive supply chain operations.
• Intermediate English (written)
• Proficient in MS Office and reporting tools, with data analysis skills.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor vehicle inbound and outbound operations through Wallenius Wilhelmsen systems and customer platforms.
• Develop daily and weekly forecasts for inbound and outbound vehicle volumes to support operational planning.
• Participate in customer operational meetings and conference calls, providing status updates and action plans as required.
• Manage and respond to regular and special customer requests while ensuring service level compliance.
• Coordinate railcar and truck (NOD/Rail) loading plans to optimize shipment schedules.
• Monitor vehicle campaigns, quality holds, and shipment restrictions to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports related to inventory, inbound, outbound, and shipment performance.
• Manage import inventory activities and ensure accurate system transactions.
• Analyze operational data to identify risks, trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Maintain data integrity across internal and customer systems.
• Support cross-functional teams to achieve operational, quality, and customer satisfaction objectives.

Job Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

Technical Knowledge

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis).


• Inventory management and shipment control.


• Operational planning and reporting.


• Experience using customer and internal operational systems.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics operations, inventory control, shipment planning, or automotive supply chain operations.

Language

• Intermediate English (written).
