LyondellBasell Industries in Altamira Tamaulipas seeks a Warehouse Operations Specialist to coordinate and execute warehouse activities, maintain inventory accuracy, and support production and customer requirements in alignment with the Warehouse Operation Program and safety standards.

Responsibilities include managing raw material receipts, railcar logistics, and SAP-based shipping processes, while ensuring on-time deliveries and compliance with internal procedures.

Formación

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Technical or associate degree in logistics or related field preferred.
• Warehousing and material handling.
• Logistics of FTL / LTL / HT shipments.
• Bulk truck and trailer shipments.
• Inventory management.
• Warehouse management systems (WMS/ERP) such as SAP or similar.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015
• Generate accurate and complete records.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate raw material receipts (bulk and packaged) accordingly with the Warehouse Operation program.
• Manage railcar logistics and external warehouse flows through the daily shifting of cars with Indelpro’s railcars movements.
• Ensure material (raw, cca, packaging) availability in site aligned to production requirements according to the Internal Production Plan F-PROD-029.
• Monitor inventory levels and apply FIFO based on MT-L-003 Inbounds, Storage, Production Line supply and outbounds of materials.
• Generate receiving documentation and schedules to maintain traceability of the materials.
• Schedule customer shipments according to VL10H Sales & Stock transport order items in SAP.
• Validate order readiness and compliance for each STO or Sales order to be shipped based on the stablished work instructions.
• Execute shipping processes in SAP (PGI, documentation), ensuring they are completed on a daily basis.
• Coordinate transportation and appointments with external warehouses and 3rd party transportation vendors.
• Ensure on-time and compliant deliveries shipped or collected from the site.

Position Summary / Basic Function

Ensure continuous, safe, and efficient material flow within plant operations by coordinating and executing warehouse activities, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting production and customer requirements aligned with the Warehouse Operation Program; all in compliance with the requirements established in the management system and carried out safely.

• Cycle counts inventory participation.
• Participation in cycle counts and inventory audits
• Participation for service incident investigation and corrective actions
• Safety, quality, and compliance adherence
• Place purchase requisitions related to the operations/warehouse department as needed.
• Perform any other functions related to the position.

AUTHORITIES

• Make real-time operational decisions to resolve disruptions (delays, shortages, equipment constraints, or schedule deviations).
• Immediately stop any activity that does not comply with Safety, Quality, or Environmental standards.
• Ensure all assigned logistics processes comply with the site’s Integrated Management System.
• Initiate inventory adjustments and escalare for approval according to the Delegation of Authority (DOA).
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of SAP transactions related to logistics operations.
• Follow up with the Warehouse Operators the execution of logistics activities according to the Warehouse Operation Program.

Requirements

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Education

• Technical or associate degree in logistics or related field preferred.

Minimum Technical Knowledge Required

• Warehousing and material handling.
• Logistics of FTL / LTL / HT shipments.

• Warehouse management systems (WMS/ERP) such as SAP or similar.

Minimum Required Skills and Competencies

Minimum Required Experience

• 2 years of experience in warehouse operations (receiving, picking, shipping, inventory, etc.)

Preferred Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations (receiving, picking, shipping, inventory, etc.) with demonstrated exposure to inventory control, shipping/receiving processes, and material flow coordination, including the use of warehouse management systems (WMS/ERP) such as SAP or similar.
