Job summary

Montage International in Mexico is seeking a dedicated dishwasher/stewarder to maintain a pristine kitchen and dining area, stock supplies, and support food & beverage operations. You will help keep all china, glassware, and equipment clean and organized in a fast-paced hotel setting.

You will operate dishwashing equipment, ensure sanitation per health codes, assist with event service, and adapt to a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Basic communication skills.
• Prior dishwashing/stewarding experience is preferred.
• Hotel industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean, transport, and store all china, glassware, silverware, pots, pans and equipment used in food and beverage operations.
• Ensure restaurant and banquet kitchens are stocked with proper equipment.
• Sanitize and clean kitchen floors, recycling/ trash areas; maintain cleanliness of recycle/trash room.
• Restock kitchen towels and assist with food & beverage setup for events.
• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment; ensure items are sanitized and stored per health codes.
• Monitor water temperature, detergent levels, and equipment functionality.
• Empty trash bins and manage waste in kitchen and dining areas.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, including handwashing and glove use.
• Deliver on guest expectations and assist with other duties as needed.
