Job summary

Corning Incorporated in Reynosa, Mexico, is seeking a Senior Automation Project Engineer to lead automation initiatives that improve manufacturing processes, equipment performance, product quality, and operational efficiency.

You will collaborate with production, development, and research teams to solve technical challenges, implement process improvements, and bring new automated technologies into operation. Strong project management and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Hands-on automation experience in manufacturing.
Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
Proven project management and cross-functional leadership.
Ability to analyze process data and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

Lead automation projects to improve equipment reliability and production capacity.
Troubleshoot equipment, material, and process issues; implement corrective actions.
Support the introduction of new automated equipment and technologies.
Train engineers and technicians on automated systems and best practices.
