Job summary

Citigroup; an entry-level Field Sales Representative position focused on customer service and meeting sales targets for financial products within the assigned district, in coordination with the Consumer Sales Team.

You will build client relationships, provide expert product knowledge, and determine which financial products meet client needs while ensuring compliance with regulations and firm policies.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Previous experience in financial sales preferred.
• Proficient computer and technology skills.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
• Working knowledge of relevant financial regulations.
• Effective problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated influencing and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain high value accounts by providing expert advice and promoting portfolios and financial products.
• Customize offers and cross-sell a broad set of products to existing customers.
• Analyze client interests and potential needs for new products and services.
• Process service requests to achieve transfers with low rejections in customer certifications.
• Develop product and service knowledge and stay current on regulations via training.
• Achieve or exceed sales targets set by management.
• Adhere to laws governing telesales in a complex sales environment.
• Assess risk in business decisions and ensure compliance with laws, rules and policies.
