Johnson Controls in Monterrey seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to lead our Quality Engineering team, drive quality excellence, and advance process improvements across manufacturing. You will oversee Quality Engineers, ensure robust quality processes, and champion customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate brings 8–10 years in quality engineering, 3+ years of leadership, expertise in 8D, RCA, DOE, and lean CI, plus strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field.
• 8–10 years of quality engineering experience with 3+ years in leadership.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; experience with 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and Design of Experiments.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• CQE or Six Sigma certification is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor a team of Quality Engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
• Monitor and follow up on Quality Engineers' activities, ensuring effective implementation of quality processes.
• Drive Kaizen initiatives to improve quality processes, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency.
• Track and analyze quality metrics, including customer claims, reworks, and scrap; report to management.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain; communicate with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with quality management systems (ISO 9001) and maintain documentation.
• Review and update Control Plans / PFMEA; implement APQP and Core Tools.
