Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Food Process Consultant to optimize production for clients in Chihuahua and surrounding regions. You will analyze processes, improve efficiency, and ensure quality and safety across the supply chain.

The role requires expert knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and diverse food production technologies. Travel to client sites is expected; a hybrid work model is offered.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in food processing, manufacturing, or consulting.
• Experts in process analysis, optimization, and implementation in food industry.
• Knowledge of food safety standards (ISO 22000) and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with food production technologies and equipment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites in Chihuahua and beyond.
• Spanish and English bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of food manufacturing processes to identify efficiency and cost improvements.
• Analyze and optimize production workflows, equipment use, and procedures.
• Develop strategies to enhance quality, safety, and regulatory compliance (HACCP, GMP).
• Advise on new technologies and process innovations.
• Troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime and waste.
• Create training materials and conduct client workshops on improvements.
• Prepare reports and present findings to clients.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, and QA teams.
• Support clients in achieving certifications and driving new opportunities.
