Placements24 seeks an experienced Especialista en Control de Calidad Alimentaria Remoto to assure safety and quality across food products. The role emphasizes data-driven QC, audits, CAPAs, and regulatory compliance in a remote setting from Cancún, Quintana Roo.

The candidate should have a strong background in food science, QA, and regulatory affairs, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Fluency in Spanish is required; English is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in the food industry.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SQF/BRC/ISO 22000 standards.
• Experience with statistical process control and data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Aufgaben

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans and SOPs for food products.
• Analyze quality data from production lines, including sensory tests and lab results.
• Conduct remote internal audits to ensure HACCP, GMP compliance.
• Investigate complaints and CAPAs; identify root causes.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, EFSA, ISO 22000 and other regulations.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, and supply chain to maintain quality.
• Train plant personnel on QC procedures and best practices.
• Prepare quality performance reports for management.
• Stay updated on industry trends and quality risks.
• Oversee traceability and recall procedures as needed.
