Qualifications

About the Role

Our client, a leading food industry consultancy firm, is seeking a highly experienced Food Process Consultant to join their team serving clients in Chihuahua and surrounding regions. This role involves analyzing, evaluating, and improving food production processes to enhance efficiency, quality, safety, and sustainability. You will work closely with food manufacturers, agricultural producers, and related businesses to identify bottlenecks, implement best practices, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in food science, process engineering, quality assurance, and a deep understanding of the food supply chain. This position requires excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as the ability to travel to client sites. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of food manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement in efficiency, yield, and cost reduction.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in food processing, manufacturing, or consulting.
• Proven expertise in process analysis, optimization, and implementation within the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, quality management systems (e.g., ISO 22000), and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with various food production technologies and equipment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong project management and client-facing communication skills.
